A Chinese martial arts that was brought to Japan, and then America, that focuses primarily on self-defense. This began as a form of Kung Fu that wound up having elements of Judo, Jujitsu, Karate, and Hung Gar implemented into it as it evolved.
San Shou is a combat art, also known as Sanda. There are San Shou/Sanda competitions where fighters compete on a lei tai platform trying to punch, kick, and throw each other. Bonus points if they are thrown out of the ring! To watch the sport looks a lot like kickboxing with throws. Outside of practice, more brutal techniques are implemented for street self defense.
Shotokan Karate is one of the most popular styles of Karate in America. This style focuses heavily on form work and mastery of basics. Shotokan focuses on being simple and effective.

Wushu is the Chinese term for martial arts, so Wushu basically means any style of Chinese martial art. It can include Shaolin, Wing Chun, Hung Gar, and many more! The main style of Wushu practiced by Arkansas Wushu is Jun Bao Wushu, which was put together by James Ibrao. This style is strongly rooted in Hung Gar. Wushu has everything! Chi Na, Forms, Weapons, Throws, and acrobatics! Some consider it one of the hardest styles in the world.
